Bollywood is set to witness a fresh on-screen pairing as Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor come together for the first time in the upcoming romantic comedy 'Param Sundari'. Directed by Tushar Jalota and produced by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films, the film is slated for a theatrical release on July 25, 2025.
'Param Sundari' narrates a cross-cultural love story between Param, a spirited Punjabi man portrayed by Malhotra, and Sundari, a graceful South Indian woman played by Kapoor. Set against the picturesque backdrops of Kerala, the film explores the humorous and heartfelt journey of two individuals from contrasting backgrounds finding love.

The production recently concluded its Kerala shooting schedule, with key scenes filmed at the iconic Athirappilly waterfalls—a location renowned for featuring in Mani Ratnam's classics like 'Dil Se', 'Raavan', and 'Guru'. Malhotra shared glimpses from the shoot on social media, expressing his enthusiasm about the experience.
The film's first look, unveiled on December 24, 2024, showcases the lead pair in traditional South Indian attire, encapsulating the essence of their characters. The tagline, "North ka swag, South ki grace – two worlds collide and sparks fly," hints at the cultural amalgamation at the heart of the narrative.
Adding to the anticipation, the teaser for 'Param Sundari' was released on May 9, 2025, alongside the theatrical debut of 'Bhool Chuk Maaf'. The teaser offers a glimpse into the vibrant chemistry between Malhotra and Kapoor, set amidst the lush landscapes of Kerala.
